Planned Maintenance Works Update
Dear Valued Customer,
Following our September notification, we are pleased to report that full services are anticipated to return from 4 October 2024, following updates from ARTC and ARC:
- 30 September to 2 October: ARTC’s scheduled track works between North Geelong Loop to Mile End and Islington South Australia are now complete, with temporary speed restrictions in place.
- 1 to 4 October: ARC’s planned works at Midland Train Station in Perth are progressing as scheduled, despite adverse weather conditions.
We remain committed to working with all parties involved, and our expected delays of 24 to 72 hours remain unchanged. Your patience and understanding during this time will be greatly appreciated.

Rail Service Notice – Planned Maintenance
Dear Valued Customer,
Please be informed of upcoming track maintenance that may affect rail services in and out of Perth over the coming months. As a result, we strongly encourage you to place orders ahead of time to avoid delays.
Orders collected and dispatched to Western Australia prior to 25th September will not be affected.
Planned Track Maintenance:
- 30 September 2024 to 2 October 2024: ARTC has planned a 70-hour continuous possession, between North Geelong Loop to Mile End and Islington South Australia impacting west bound trains departing Victoria. This work will have a flow-on effect on services in and out of Perth.
- 1 October 2024 to 4 October 2024: Track works at Midland Train Station in Perth.
Approaching state public holidays may also result in delays of 24 to 72 hours for orders collected from 30 September 2024 through to 11 October 2024:
- Western Australia: 23 September 2024
- Victoria: 27 September 2024
- New South Wales, Queensland, and South Australia: 7 October 2024
